1 Killed In Plymouth House Fire

PLYMOUTH (CBS) – One person is dead after a fire ripped through a home in Plymouth Wednesday night.

The fire broke out on Ellisville Road at approximately 8:00 p.m. and went to two alarms.

Firefighters had the blaze under control about three hours later but the scene remained active.

The State Fire Marshal is on scene investigating as is an officer from the Plymouth County District Attorney's office.

A neighbor said she saw the deck on fire and then called the fire department. It is unclear how the fire started.

The identity of the victim has not been released.
