Fantasy Football Week 5: Dave Richard's Pickups & Must Plays
BOSTON (CBS) -- Bye weeks are making life difficult for some fantasy football owners, but Dave Richard is here to help.
The CBS Sports fantasy expert joined Toucher & Rich for his weekly call into the show on Thursday, and had plenty of advice for fantasy owners for Week 5.
Richard cautions owners from rushing to trade or cut under-performing players, like running backs C.J. Anderson and DeMarco Murray.
As for players with very favorable matchups in Week 5, Richard recommends starting Jags running back T.J. Yeldon and wide receiver Allen Hurns (against Tampa Bay) and Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota and wide receiver Kendall Wright (against the Bills).
Browns receiver Travis Benjamin is also a smart play against the Ravens. Richard also recommends receivers Leonard Hankerson (Atlanta), Kenny Britt (St. Louis) and Kamar Aiken (Baltimore).
