Fallen Remembered During 121st Firefighter Memorial Service

BOSTON (CBS) --- A special tribute was paid Sunday to the two firefighters killed while fighting a Beacon Street fire.

Flowers with the names of Lt. Ed Walsh and Firefighter Michael Kennedy were laid at the grave sites during the 121st Annual Firefighters Memorial Services at Forest Hills Cemetery in Jamaica Plain. Walsh and Kennedy were killed battling a 9-alarm Back Bay fire.

A special tribute was paid to Lt. Minehan, who was killed in the line of duty 20 years ago this June 24th. The Orator of the Day was Honorable Rosemary Minehan, the sister of the late Lt. Steve Minehan of Ladder 15.
