Pedestrian Hit By Car, Seriously Injured In Everett

EVERETT (CBS) – A person was seriously injured Friday night after they were hit by a car on Route 16 in Everett.
It happened around 9:30 p.m. near Vine Street.
The pedestrian was rushed to Mass General Hospital with serious injuries.
Westbound lanes on Route 16 were closed due to the crash. People are asked to avoid the area.
Massachusetts State Police said the driver remained on scene.
