Firetruck Rolls Over In New Hampshire, Snaps Utility Pole
EFFINGHAM, N.H. (CBS) – No one was seriously hurt when a firetruck rolled over in New Hampshire on Wednesday morning.
Effingham fire officials said Chief Randy Burbank was bringing Engine 1 back to the station after undergoing some minor maintenance.
The firetruck rolled over at 10:20 a.m. about a quarter-mile from the station on Route 153, snapping a utility pole.
It's believed that road conditions contributed to the crash.
"The most important thing is Chief is OK. He was taken to the hospital and checked out," the department said on Facebook.
