Dump Truck Driver Killed In Route 1 Rollover
SAUGUS (CBS) -- A dump truck driver was killed in a rollover on Route 1 southbound in Saugus Wednesday afternoon, police said.
The crash occurred at the Lynn Fells parkway, closing all southbound lanes, Massachusetts State Police said.
State Police say the vehicle struck the left side guardrail, causing it to roll onto its side before returning to an upright position in the roadway.
The truck driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim has not been identified.
