Driver Faces Upgraded Charges In Boston Child's Death
BOSTON (CBS) --- The woman accused of killing a 7-year-old Boston girl and seriously injuring her mother while allegedly driving drunk was arraigned Tuesday on upgraded charges.
Thirty-six-year-old Olivia Mora pleaded not guilty to the upgraded charge of manslaughter.
Prosecutors say Mora's speeding SUV hit a parked car Nov. 26, jumped a curb, hit a fire hydrant and struck Brianna Rosales and her mother.

On Tuesday, lawyers for Mora told the judge their client has a 4-year-old daughter and several ties to the community. Mora reportedly graduated from high school with honors, has a degree from Babson College and was working toward starting her own business.
Mora's 4-year-old is in "emergency placement" through the Department of Children and Families and is "suffering," according to Mora's lawyer. They asked the judge to put Mora on a GPS bracelet so she could care for her daughter.
The judge ordered Mora held on $150,000 bail.
Outside the courtroom, Rosales' mother broke down, saying she doesn't think Mora is sorry.
