Denna Laing's Team Wins National Women's Hockey League Championship
NEWARK, N.J. (CBS) -- The Boston Pride won the National Women's Hockey League Saturday night, dedicating the win to their injured teammate Denna Laing, who was hurt in a game before the NHL's Winter Classic on New Year's Eve.
Laing suffered a spinal cord injury during the Outdoor Women's Classic on Dec. 31, 2015 at Gillette Stadium. The team has shown support for The Denna Laing Foundation by wearing its t-shirts.
