Deer Knocks NH Woman Off Motorcycle

ROCHESTER, New Hampshire (CBS) -- A woman was hurt when a deer knocked her off the back of her motorcycle Saturday morning.

Rochester Police said 80-year-old Carol Delisle of Wells, Maine, was knocked off the back of a Spyder 3-wheel bike when a deer tried to jump over the bike as it traveled down Route 11.

The collision, which happened around 11:38 a.m.,  also knocked Delisle's helmet off.

She was taken by helicopter to Maine Medical Center with a head injury.

Traffic on Route 11 was briefly shut down while police investigated the crash.
