Police Arrest Man In Armed Robbery, Crash In Danvers

DANVERS (CBS) -- Massachusetts State Police arrested a man they say tried to rob a McDonalds, crashed his car, and led them on a foot chase.

Danvers Police said an attempted armed robbery occurred at the McDonalds on Route 114 just after 8 a.m.

A responding officer spotted the suspect, who drove off and led police on a brief chase.

The man crashed his car in the Route 1 Rotary, and took off on foot into a wooded area.

Police later identified the suspect to be 25-year-old Ryan Joesph Hussein, of Peabody.

State Police responded, and the State Police Air Wing, as well as K9 units, helped Danvers Police search for the man.

He was caught after a foot chase.
