WBZ's Dan Roche Named Mass. Sportscaster Of The Year

BOSTON (CBS) - A big honor for WBZ-TV Sports anchor and reporter Dan Roche. He was named Massachusetts Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sports Media Association.
It is the second time Roche won the award, which is given annually to recognize excellence in sports media. He previously was recognized in 2014.
Roche has been with WBZ-TV since 1999.
On the print side of media, Boston Globe columnist Dan Shaughnessy was named the state's Sportswriter of the year.
