Daily Talker: Missing NH Girl Home Safe, Questions Remain
A 15-year-old girl from Conway, New Hampshire who was missing for nine months is now back home with her family. But investigators are saying little about what led to the safe return of Abby Hernandez on Sunday.
"The facts and circumstances surrounding Abigail's disappearance continue to be actively investigated," said a statement from the New Hampshire Attorney General's office. "Further details will be provided once it has been determined that releasing additional information will not compromise the integrity of the on-going criminal investigation."
Hernandez was last seen in October, walking from her school. Since then, friends and neighbors have taken part in numerous search efforts and vigils. Now the community concerned with finding her wants answers about what happened.
"It's been nine months, so where'd she go and why did she come back or how did she come back?"
