Coastal Areas Cleaning Up Icy Debris After Storm
SCITUATE (CBS) - Coastal areas were cleaning up on Saturday after a powerful nor'easter.
Town workers in Scituate were using bobcats and bulldozers to clear frozen debris from roads along the coast.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Kim Tunnicliffe reports
On top of the snow that Thursday and Friday's storm dumped, seas swelled and sent powerful waves crashed onto land, littering the area with seaweed, sand, rocks and other debris.
With temperatures dropping overnight, many residents woke up to find their homes and roads were crusted in ice.
The upside residents say, was that the most recent storm did not cause major flooding issues.
