Coast Guard Searching For Possible Missing Person Off Winthrop Beach
WINTHROP (CBS) - The Coast Guard says crews are looking for a possible missing person off Winthrop Beach.
Saturday night around 7 p.m., a beach towel, purse, shoes and shorts were found unattended on the beach.
A Coast Guard boat, a Coast Guard helicopter and a Winthrop Harbor Master boat were all searching the area as of Sunday morning.
Anyone with information about the missing items or the person who they may belong is asked to call the Sector Boston Command Center at 617-223-5757.
