Car Slams Into Raynham Chipotle

RAYNHAM (CBS) – A 33-year-old man was injured after crashing his car through the storefront of a Raynham Chipotle.
The East Taunton man crashed on New State Highway around 1:40 a.m. Thursday.
Following the crash, the man was taken to Morton Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
He was the only person inside the car.
The Chipotle suffered extensive damage, but no one was inside at the time.
Crews boarded up the restaurant later Thursday morning.
A Chipotle spokesman said the restaurant is waiting for the building inspector to assess the damage, and the health department to check to make sure nothing was impacted that would compromise food quality and safety.
Police have not yet determined the cause of the crash.
