Horse Captured After Wandering On Mass Pike In Charlton
CHARLTON (CBS) -- Massachusetts State Police found an unlikely traveler on the Mass Pike Saturday.
A horse wandering the Massachusetts Turnpike was captured without incident between Exits 9 and 10 in Charlton.

Later, Massachusetts State Police Social Media Specialist Trooper Dustin Fitch tweeted a photo of Trooper Ron Ramos with the horse, safe and sound and returned to it's home.
Horse owner Buster Stone of Stone Horse Stables called the ordeal "nerve-wracking."
"I was cleaning stalls and I had a neighbor drive down here and he said that the police had been calling him that there was horse on the Mass Pike," said Stone.
"He was during circles around me like a 100 miles an hour, he was very scared," he said.
Fortunately, drivers steered away from the horse.

It isn't yet clear how the horse, named Calypso, got on the highway, or where it escaped from. Stone thinks perhaps he may have gone over a low part of the fence, which he now plans to change.
"I don't know there was only one small section that was maybe chest high, so we went down there and put it up to five feet," said Stone.
