Jaylen Brown, Daniel Theis Upgraded To Available For Celtics Friday Night Vs. Magic

BOSTON (CBS) -- The Celtics are set to return to action on Friday night, and they won't be as shorthanded as originally anticipated.
Jaylen Brown, Daniel Theis, Semi Ojeleye and Javonte Green were all questionable for Friday night's tilt due to health and safety protocols, but all four have been upgraded to available for Boston.
Somewhere inside the TD Garden, Brad Stevens is doing a happy dance.
Boston will still be without Jayson Tatum and Robert Williams, who were ruled out Thursday after reportedly testing positive for COVID-19 last week. Carsen Edwards (heath and safety protocols) and Romeo Langford (wrist) are also sidelined for Friday's game.
But with Brown, Theis and Ojeleye available, Boston's depth looks a whole lot better than it did just a few hours ago:
Guards: Marcus Smart, Jeff Teague, Payton Pritchard, Tremont Waters
Wing: Jaylen Brown, Semi Ojeleye, Javonte Green, Aaron Nesmith
Bigs: Tristan Thompson, Daniel Theis, Grant Williams, Tacko Fall
That's almost an entire roster! It's great news for the 7-3 Celtics, who haven't played since last Friday's win over the Washington Wizards.
