Celtics @ 7: Previewing The 2014-15 Boston Celtics
BOSTON (CBS) – Saturday brought a special season-preview edition of "Celtics @ 7" on 98.5 The Sports Hub.
Host Adam Kaufman looked back at the 5-3 preseason, examined the roster, both realistic and best-case scenarios for the team this season, the club's new-found love of the three-pointer, and a grueling November schedule to begin the year.
Celts radio color commentator Cedric Maxwell joined the show in the second segment to discuss All-Star Rajon Rondo's health, rookie Marcus Smart's development, his outlook for the year, and Max even provided the name of the player he believes will be traded before season's end.
The show wrapped with a focus on the proposed draft lottery reform, and how the NBA screwed up by not approving the new format.
The Celtics open up the regular season Wednesday night at home versus the Brooklyn Nets. Tip off for opening night is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
