Celtics @ 7: Fans Might Need Big Trade To Go 'All In' On C's Bandwagon
BOSTON (CBS) -- After winning nine of their last 10 games, the Boston Celtics sit at third place in the Eastern Conference.
While the team's recent run of success bodes well for the rest of the season, Adam Jones believes that the Celtics fan base isn't "all in" yet.
"What will it take for Celtics fans to truly buy into this team?" asked Jones.
A big move at the trade deadline might do it.
"Celtics fans have a foot on the bandwagon and they're ready to put another one on if Danny Ainge gives them a reason to," said Jones.
After all, it worked last time.
Last year's acquisition of Isaiah Thomas injected life in to the Celtics, who have gone 51-31 in the 82 games played since Thomas came over from Phoenix. Jones believes another move is necessary to get fans truly excited about the team.
