Cambridge Man Charged With Murder In Fatal Stabbing
CAMBRIDGE (CBS) -- A Cambridge man appeared in court Friday to face a murder charge in the stabbing death of a Roxbury man.
Prosecutors say Antwan Gonsalves, 33, stabbed Tywann Jones, 35, outside of a Cambridge convenience store on Sept. 12.
Jones was rushed to Massachusetts General Hospital with life-threatening injuries. He underwent surgery but later died.
Police used surveillance footage to identify the suspect.
Gonsalves is being held on $7.5 million cash bail with a $750,000 surety. The next hearing is scheduled for Nov. 4.
