Burlington Mall Shut Down For Much Of Thursday Due To Power Outage

BURLINGTON (CBS) -- The Burlington Mall was closed throughout day Thursday due to a power outage on the property, according to the mall's Twitter account.
The Burlington Fire Department posted a picture Thursday morning of an excavator that accidentally pulled an electrical power line out of the ground during construction at the mall.
Thursday afternoon the fire department tweeted that generators are being brought in to restore power to the mall, in hopes of reopening Thursday evening.
