Buccaneers Release Darrelle Revis
BOSTON (CBS) – The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have released Darrelle Revis, making the All Pro cornerback a free agent.
Revis, considered the best corner in the NFL, has 21 interceptions over his seven-year career and has been named First Team All-Pro three times. He played in all 16 regular season games for the Buccaneers in 2013, picking off two passes while recording 11 pass deflections and two forced fumbles.

Revis is now free to sign wherever he wants, and there are multiple reports that say he may relocate "Revis Island" to New England.

The 28-year-old Revis spent the first six seasons of his career in New York, and was often a thorn in the Patriots' side, shutting down the likes of Randy Moss and Wes Welker. But with Aqib Talib leaving New England for Denver this offseason, there is speculation that the Patriots will make a hard push for the five-time pro bowler.
The Bucs have released Darrelle Revis. Let the bidding begin. I still like New England to get this done

Signing Revis won't likely come cheap, as the corner is famous for his desire to be the highest paid corner in the NFL. He agreed to a six-year, $96-million deal with the Buccaneers following last April's trade from New York, and it's unclear what he would command on the open market today.
