Bruins' Iginla Named NHL's Third Star Of Week

BOSTON (CBS) -  Jarome Iginla has been named the NHL's Third Star of the Week for the week ending February 9, the NHL announced on Monday.

Iginla went into the Olympic break riding a four-game point streak, which saw him tally two goals and five assists for seven points with a plus-five rating. The 36-year-old recorded three multiple-point games in his last four appearances, including the game-winning goal and his 600th career assist in a 3-1 win over the Vancouver Canucks on February 4.

Through 57 games this season, Iginla has 17 goals (tied for third on the team) and 26 assists (second on the team) for 43 points (second on the team) to go with a plus-25 rating (second on the Bruins and fourth in the NHL).

Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price and Dallas Stars goaltender Kari Lehtonen earned the first and second stars of the week, respectively.
