Third Suspect Arrested In Armed Brookline Home Invasion

BROOKLINE (CBS) – A third suspect surrendered to police in connection to a violent home invasion in Brookline.

Three people were shot and stabbed on Jan. 27 during a home invasion on St. Paul Street.

A day later, police arrested Antonio Brown Jr. of Cambridge and Khari Wilcox of Dorchester, but said that two other suspects were wanted.

On Tuesday, Brookline Police announced that a third person surrendered at Brookline District Court on a warrant for conspiracy and home invasion.

According to court documents, 24-year-old Baltazar Barros was the third suspect charged.

Barros was charged with conspiracy to commit home invasion. He was held on $1,000 bail.

In documents, police say Barros lied to police when he told them a white sedan that he had rented was stolen.

Officers found the car had instead been used as the getaway car. It was found the night of the home invasion unoccupied on St. Botolph Street in Boston.

Police say they know the motive of the home invasion, but have not released it.
