1 Killed After Car, Motorcycle Collide On VFW Parkway In Brookline

BROOKLINE (CBS) -- A car and motorcycle collided Monday morning leaving one person dead, Massachusetts State Police said.
They said the crash happened at VFW Parkway and South Street around 7:45 a.m. when a 2012 Mazda 5 was struck by a 2005 Yamaha motorcycle while turning left onto South Street.

The motorcycle driver, 35-year-old Michael Donlin of Jamaica Plain, was killed. The Mazda driver, a 53-year-old West Roxbury woman, was taken to Faulkner Hospital with unknown injuries.
The victim's name has not yet been released.
