DeMarcus Ware Ruled Out For Broncos Vs. Patriots
BOSTON (CBS) -- The Patriots offensive line will have their hands full Sunday night in Denver, but they had to breathe at least a little little sigh of relief on Friday.
Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak has ruled out DeMarcus Ware for Sunday night's tilt with the New England Patriots, meaning life should be a little bit easier for quarterback Tom Brady and his offensive linemen.
Ware has missed Denver's last two games and three games overall as he deals with a back injury, but he still leads their defense with 6.5 sacks. Overall, Denver leads the NFL with 34 sacks on the season.
While Ware may be missing from Sunday's showdown, the Patriots offensive line will still have their hands full with Von Miller, who has six sacks on the season.
