Woman Hit By Car After Crash Remembered As 'Loving Person'

BROCKTON (CBS) – A 32-year-old woman died Saturday night after she was hit by a car in Brockton.

The Plymouth County district attorney says the woman was hit at the intersection of Main Street and Legion Parkway. The woman was hit by a car that had just been involved in another accident.

Family members identified Patrice Newton-Vanleer as the victim in the crash. A makeshift memorial was set up on the sidewalk where she was killed.

"I feel so bad she was such a loving person you know she never judged anybody," her friend Sydney Dingle said.

Both drivers stayed on the scene. Each was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
