Woman Walks Out Of Brimfield Woods, Reports Sexual Assault: Police

BRIMFIELD (CBS) -- A man has been arrested in connection with a reported sexual assault in Brimfield Wednesday. A 38-year-old woman standing on the Mass Pike around 5:20 a.m. flagged down a tractor-trailer and reported to the driver that she was sexually assaulted, Mass. State Police said.
Twenty-five-year-old Lee Michael Collins of Palmer was arrested a few hours later. According to police, "the investigation determined that she was held against her will, assaulted, and strangled inside a camping trailer in Palmer."
Police were led to Collins after "the recovery of evidentiary items" in the woods near the highway.
The woman was transported to Wing Hospital in Palmer.
Collins is expected to appear in Palmer District Court Wednesday afternoon.
