Suspect Flees After Fatal Brighton Shooting

BOSTON (CBS) – Police are searching for a suspect after a man was shot and killed late Thursday night in Brighton.
Officers responded to Telford Street just before midnight and found a 30-year-old man dead in the street.
The man had been shot multiple times.
Boston Police said they do not have a description of the suspect, but are scouring surveillance video from the area.
The shooting took place in the vicinity of a McDonald's and a shopping plaza.
Police believe the suspect ran through the nearby parking lot to get away.
"I'm in shock. I just can't believe this is happening around here," a woman who lives in the area said.
