Brady, Patriots Featured On Sports Illustrated Cover

BOSTON (CBS) -- As Super Bowl champions, the Patriots are going to get plenty of perks over the next few months.

They get a parade through Boston on Wednesday (and freedom to head off to any warm climate they please after). Tom Brady received a new truck for being named the game's MVP, which he passed along to Malcolm Butler, the man who saved Super Bowl XLIX for New England with his interception with 20 seconds to go. For his new-found fame, Butler was given a trip to Disneyland with receiver Julian Edelman on Monday.

And now, fittingly, the Super Bowl champs are on the cover of Sports Illustrated.

The cover reads "Super Bowl XLIX Champs" with a picture of Tom Brady, captioned "On To Immortality: After A Super Bowl Win For The Ages, The Patriots Chiseled Their Place On The Rushmore Of NFL Franchises - And Their Quarterback Staked His Claim As The Greatest Ever."

The issue also features stories on Edelman (titled "Undersized Dynamo") and Butler ("Unlikeliest Of Heroes"), as well as Pete Carroll's decision to throw on Seattle's final possession ("Outsized Outrage").

The issue will hit newsstands on Wednesday, so fans can pick it up on their way home from the championship parade.

The Patriots won their fourth Super Bowl in franchise history on Sunday night with a 28-24 victory over the Seattle Seahawks.
