Brady Not Required To Attend Next Wednesday's DeflateGate Hearing
BOSTON (CBS) -- Tom Brady was back at Gillette Stadium on Thursday, preparing for the 2015 season just one day after appearing in court for a DeflateGate settlement hearing.
And when lawyers for the NFL and NFLPA return to federal court in New York next Wednesday for their second settlement hearing, the Patriots quarterback will be practicing in his team, according to The Boston Herald's Jeff Howe.
Important development for Tom Brady. Judge Berman will allow him to miss Wednesday's meeting, so he'll be at practice in West Virginia.

Judge Berman reserves the right to change his mind and order Brady and Goodell to attend Wednesday's meeting, though.

While it's good news that Brady can head to West Virginia with his teammates, where they'll hold joint practices with the New Orleans Saints ahead of their preseason game next Saturday night, it unfortunately means we won't be gifted any more court room sketches of No. 12.
Lawyers for the NFLPA and NFL reportedly met with Judge Richard Berman on Thursday, without Brady or NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, in New York as they continued settlement talks.
