This is a photo of an iconic church on a small island in Lake Bled, and it is one of the spots that make all the hassle and uncertainty of travel worthwhile. I actually hitch-hiked here with a guy I met on the train. The first car that we saw picked us up and took us all the way. That would not happen in the United States.
