Bourne Hit And Run Victim Says He Was Intentionally Struck

BOURNE (CBS) -- Authorities in Bourne are investigating a hit and run accident that left a pedestrian seriously injured, and may have been intentional.

The victim was taken to the hospital after he was hit by a car that fled the scene just before 8 a.m. Sunday off Commerce Park Road and Portside Drive.

Bourne Deputy Fire Chief David Pelonzi said crews found the 68-year-old man in a parking lot suffering from serious injuries.

"Initial responding crews had some difficulty locating the person that was involved, ended up being in the parking lot of one of the buildings on Commerce Park Road," he said.

The victim told police the car intentionally hit him and then took off.
