Temperature drop coming; Rain possible for Taylor Swift at Gillette Stadium?

The main thing of note is red flag warning that is in effect for southern New England. The brush fire threat is being driven by very low dewpoints (very dry air) along with gusty winds. .  . and, of course, a byproduct of how dry it has been.

Our temperatures are starting to drop as well. The high temperatures will fall about 20 degrees from Tuesday to Wednesday.

The air pouring down from Canada is so chilly, that we will likely have some frost or freeze warnings in place for early Thursday morning. Temperatures will likely drop into the 30s in most of the area and perhaps even into the 20s in some colder locations!

I know a lot of you (including myself) likely planted some flowers this past weekend. you may have to either cover them up or bring them inside (if possible) Wednesday night.

Friday looks like a great day for a concert and Sunday is also looking much better than previously thought.

Unfortunately, it appears as though the timing for our next big rain event is likely to line up with the Saturday evening show. Certainly not a lock yet, we will continue to update the rain timeline as we get closer.
