1 Arrested As Red Sox Fans Celebrate World Series Victory On Streets Of Boston
BOSTON (CBS) – The celebration was on in the streets of Boston, but for the most part things remained under control.
Crowds were jubilant as they moved around the city Sunday night when the Red Sox beat the Dodgers, 5-1, to clinch the franchise's ninth World Series title.

On Brookline Ave., several fans climbed onto structures.
The crowd soon moved to Boston Common. Two young men were seen climbing a light post and smashing the light. One of them was taken away by police.
Boston Police reported just one arrest in the post-game celebration.
