Boston Police Locate Person Of Interest In Possible South End Kidnapping

BOSTON (CBS) -- Boston police have identified a person of interest after asking the public for help as they investigate a possible kidnapping in the South End.

Police responded to the area of Harrison Avenue and Northampton Street just after 4 p.m. Wednesday for a call about a possible kidnapping. Officers were "unable to confirm the validity of the incident," police said.

"This individual is not a suspect and no charges have been filed as the investigation remains active," police said about the woman they located.
