Boston Carjacking Ends With Crash In Cambridge
CAMBRIDGE (CBS) -- One man was arrested by State Police after he carjacked a vehicle in Boston and ended up crashing it into a bus in Cambridge Wednesday evening.
Boston Police told WBZ-TV that the carjacking ensued after a fight on Edgerly Road.
They said Alejandro Trigo, 21 from Dedham, stole the car.
Video of the confrontation from a neighbor shows the man police say is Trigo using a baton to attack a Chinese restaurant's delivery driver behind their building. After he hit the driver in the head and arm, he took his car.
Then, according to police in Cambridge, that car crashed into an MBTA bus and two vehicles near Mass Avenue and Vassar Street.
No one was seriously injured from the crash. Only the bus driver was on board at the time.
The delivery driver went to the hospital but is expected to be okay.
Trigo will be arraigned in Roxbury District Court Thursday.
