BOSTON (CBS) – An early morning fire in Allston set off live ammunition inside a two-and-a-half story home, officials said.

Crews responded at 1:46 a.m. Wednesday to 42-44 Raymond Street, where they battled heavy fire before they were ordered out of the two-apartment building.

"Firefighters pulled out during the fire with reports of live ammunition going off," the Boston Fire Department tweeted.

No one was hurt in the fire, but three adults and one teenager were displaced. Damage is estimated at $600,000.

The fire was determined to be caused by careless disposal of smoking materials, officials said.
