Lisa Hughes Hosts Kennedy Library Forum With CBS News Legend Bob Schieffer

BOSTON - Hundreds of people in Boston heard from one of the greats of CBS news Tuesday night. Bob Schieffer was the featured guest at a JFK Library Forum, hosted by WBZ-TV's Lisa Hughes.

The pair discussed everything from Schieffer's coverage during Vietnam, to anchoring the CBS Evening News, and covering presidential campaigns. He said the political system in Washington has ground to a halt.

Schieffer retired from CBS and Face the Nation at the end of May. He is currently a Fellow at Harvard's Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics, and Public Policy.
