Bob Neumeier In Hospital After Suffering Stroke

BOSTON (CBS) - Veteran Boston sportscaster and talk show host Bob Neumeier is in the hospital after suffering a stroke Wednesday night.

Neumeier was a sports reporter and anchor at WBZ-TV for 20 years.

He currently works at Comcast SportsNet New England.

"Neumy," as he is known, also covers horse racing for NBC Sports.

Michael Felger broke the news to 98.5 The Sports Hub listeners and Comcast SportsNet viewers on Thursday's Felger & Mazz broadcast.

"If you know Bob or have heard him over the years, are a fan or have been a listener or a viewer, keep him in your thoughts and prayers," Felger said. "We know you'll pull through on this one and I know we'll be talking to you soon."
