Black Friday Brings Out All-Night Shoppers (And Ninjas)

WRENTHAM (CBS) - There just might be some people reading this story right now who haven't been to bed yet.

That's because they've been out all night shopping, going after Black Friday bargains.

It was busy at the Wrentham Village Premium Outlets as the 170-store complex opened up its doors at midnight.

Crowds started showing up a few hours before that, determined to get the best deals after Thanksgiving.

Many of the shoppers combined bargain hunting with plain old fun.

Two cousins showed up with black eye paint calling themselves the "Black Friday ninjas."

They told WBZ-TV they were prepared to stay up all night, wired from consuming hot chocolate.

Wrentham police were also busy keeping an eye on things.

Some officers patrolled with long rifles for the first time ever.

Police say with such a large crowd, they wanted to make sure everybody was safe.
