Billy Joel To Play Fenway Park Concert For Third Straight Year
BOSTON (CBS) -- Billy Joel fans will get the chance to see The Piano Man play at Fenway Park for a third year in a row.
It was announced Thursday afternoon that Joel would return to Fenway on Thursday, August 18.
"This is the first time in Fenway Park history that an artist has performed three consecutive years in a row," a Red Sox team spokesman said.
Joel isn't the only Fenway favorite playing at the ballpark this summer. Boston-born singer-songwriter James Taylor will perform at Fenway on Aug. 3.
Tickets for Joel are set to go on sale Jan. 22 at 10 a.m.
