Best Bars To Watch The New England Patriots In The Playoffs

The Patriots are back in the playoffs for the 11th time in the last 13 seasons. Considering tickets for every single Patriots home game dating back to 1994 have sold out, and playoffs have seen even more interest, it's might just be easier to head to the bar. Here are some of the best bars -- both in and out of the city -- where you can watch instead.

BOSTON

McGreevy's 3rd Base Saloon
911 Boylston St
Boston, MA 02115
(617) 262-0911
www.mcgreevysboston.com

A dozen TVs and three full bars surrounded by wall to wall sports memorabilia makes McGreevy's a great place to grab drinks and enjoy watching any sport with like-minded fans.

Cask'n Flagon
62 Brookline Ave
Boston, MA 02215
(617) 536-4840
www.casknflagon.com

Cast in the shadows of Fenway Park, Cask'n Flagon has a reputation as a baseball bar. But rest assured, with TVs everywhere you turn, watching the Patriots isn't so bad either.

Jillian's/Lucky Strike
145 Ipswich Street
Boston, MA 02215
(617) 437.0300
jilliansboston.com

Two floors (three if you count Tequila Rain) with plenty of TVs, but that's not the only reason this spot is on the list. In the case of a Patriots blow-out, you have the option of bowling or shooting billiards while you're watching the second half.

Jerry Remy's Seaport
250 Northern Ave
Boston, MA 02210
(617) 856-7369
www.jerryremysseaport.com

GILLETTE STADIUM

CBS Scene
200 Patriot Place
Foxboro, MA 02035
(508) 203-2200
www.cbsscene.com

The CBS Scene was going on the list regardless. But shameless self promotion is not the reason it's at the top. If you're up for the challenge of battling game day traffic, The Scene has one of the most unique game day experiences you'll find -- a parking lot full of rabid Pats fans, 135 HD TVs, and the Patriots playing less than a hundred yards away. It's as close as you'll come to the game without having a ticket. There's also no cover charge. Reservations are not accepted, so consider getting there early. There's a 90 minute time limit on tables (you're welcome to move to the bar afterward).

Important Notes for Game Days:
Parking is free for CBS Scene. You will be asked at the gate to prove you were actually at CBS Scene and not at the game, so save your time-stamped receipt.
