Bergeron, Lucic Out For Bruins Monday Night vs. Red Wings

BOSTON (CBS) -- The Boston Bruins will be without a couple of key players for Monday night's game against the Detroit Red Wings.

Forwards Patrice Bergeron and Milan Lucic have both been ruled out for Monday night's game at the TD Garden, forcing the Bruins to shuffle their lines quite a bit.

With No. 37 out, top-line center David Krejci skated in Bergeron's normal spot alongside Brad Marchand and Reilly Smith at Monday's morning skate. Jordan Caron, who was recently recalled from Providence, skated on Boston's third line. Matt Fraser, who was claimed off waivers by the Edmonton Oilers on Monday, skated on Boston's fourth line during the morning skate, but the Bruins will need to make another roster move ahead of Monday night's game to fill his roster spot.

Both Lucic and Bergeron suffered undisclosed injuries in Saturday night's 6-2 loss in Columbus, and have not practice since.

Bruins head coach Claude Julien classified both players as "day-to-day" on Monday.
