Ben Affleck Spotted On Downtown Lawrence Movie Set
LAWRENCE (CBS) -- Anyone heading through downtown Lawrence on Thursday saw old model cars, and if they were lucky, a big-time movie star.
Actor and director Ben Affleck is filming a 1920s-era movie in the city this week.
The movie is called "Live By Night," a crime drama adaption of the book written by Dennis Lehane.

Pedestrians have noticed some of the cars on the road are from the 1920s and the store signs have changed. A Dunkin' Donuts was converted into a general store.

"It looks like we went back in time," one passerby said.
Lawrence Superior Court has been made to look like a bank, where onlookers said a robbery scene was filmed.
