Avery Bradley Likely Out For Celtics Road Trip
BOSTON (CBS) -- Avery Bradley was already ruled out for Friday night against the New Orleans Pelicans, and it doesn't appear the Celtics guard will join the team for the remainder of their three-game road trip.
Bradley suffered a sprained left elbow in Wednesday's 85-84 win over the Utah Jazz in Boston, and did not travel with the team to New Orleans. Head coach Brad Stevens said Friday morning that Bradley likely won't join the team in Orlando on Sunday or Miami on Monday, either.
In 58 games this season, all starts, Bradley has averaged 13.9 points per game on 43-percent shooting from the field. His overall numbers are down, but Bradley has formed a great relationship with fellow guards Marcus Smart and Isaiah Thomas to create an exciting small lineup for Boston over the last couple of weeks.

Bradley has been a key contributor to Boston's success on both the offensive and defensive end of the floor this season. With Bradley out, Thomas may find his way into Boston's starting lineup for the first time since he was acquired from the Phoenix Suns at the trade deadline.
