Resident Fires Shot To Scare Off Break-In Suspect At NH Home
AUBURN, N.H. (CBS) – Police spent the morning searching for a suspect in a possible break-in at a New Hampshire home.
New Hampshire State Police troopers and Auburn Police set up a perimeter around a house on Wood Hill Drive while they searched for a suspect beginning around 8:30 a.m.
Police said a person had tried to break into a home, but the resident inside fired one shot during a confrontation and the suspect fled.
No one was injured during the incident.
A police K-9 tracked the suspect for four miles before losing the track.
Officers remain at the house waiting to execute a search warrant.
