Ortiz, Bogaerts Lead AL All-Star Voting At DH And Shortstop

BOSTON (CBS) -- The American League released its first update on voting for the 2016 All-Star Game, which takes place July 12 in San Diego. Both designated hitter David Ortiz and shortstop Xander Bogaerts lead the voting at each of their respective positions.

Kansas City catcher Salvador Perez, the 2015 World Series MVP, leads all players with 1,094,942 votes.
