Amber Alert canceled as Stoughton mother and children are found safe
STOUGHTON - Massachusetts State Police have canceled an Amber Alert for a mother from Stoughton and her three children.
Police were looking for 29-year-old Ashley Vasquez and her three children, who she was accused of kidnapping, Friday evening. They were located late Friday night just before 11 p.m. in Jamaica Plain and Vasquez was taken into custody.
Police said everyone was found safe. They added packed belongings were found in the car, which was found using geolocation technology.
It's unclear why Vasquez allegedly took her children.
