Amber Alert Children Feared Headed To Mass. Found Safe In Philadelphia

BOSTON (CBS) — Two young children who were the focus of an Amber Alert and possibly headed towards Massachusetts were found safe in Philadelphia Friday morning.

According to CBS Philadelphia, Pennsylvania State Police arrested two men in connection with the armed abduction of the two young children in Lancaster County Thursday night.

Twenty-three-year-old Eddie Ahorrio, Jr. and 47-year-old Eddie Ahorrio, Sr. were wanted in the abduction of three-year-old Erielys Ahorrio and her four-year-old brother John.

Police issued an Amber Alert for the children after they were taken in a black Nissan Altima with Pennsylvania license plates JJG-8170.

There was concern the men were headed for Massachusetts because Eddie Ahorrio, Sr. recently lived in Worcester.

The car was stopped Friday morning where Route 1 meets the Schuylkill Expressway near City Line Avenue in Philadelphia.

Investigators say the children were located and are safe.
